    A) They Preached “the Good News”
    B) To the Gentiles (Greeks)
    C) The Lord’s Empowerment (Acts 11:21) 
          - He was behind this, His Effort
    D) The Lord’s Blessing (Acts 11:22)
          - “a large number believed”

II) Edification - Acts 11:22-24 (Encouraging)
    A) Change in Thinking - Acts 11:2 vs Acts 11:22 
         (The Jerusalem church responds differently) 
    B) Change in Strategy - Acts 11:22 
         - Barnabas is sent, not an Apostle
    C) Barnabas Observation

III) Education (Discipleship) - Acts 11:25-26 (Teaching)
    A) Publicly “the Church” 
         - whatever it consists of, Luke refers to
            Antioch as “a church.”
    B) Thoroughly 
         - a whole year of regular discipleship w/ Paul
    C) Resistance?    
         -  “Christian” may have been a term of
              derision (normally “The Way”)

IV) Emotional - Acts 11:27-30 (Giving Benevolently)
    A) Authentic Agabus (see again in Acts 21:10)
         (History says famine happened)
    B) Giving parallels 
         - support given in Acts 4:32
    C) Giving is a shift change 
         - Gentiles (as a Church) now giving to Jews
