Over 60 years ago ...

Several families in the Boutte-Luling area wanted a local, independent church. In 1962 they began having Bible studies and prayer meetings in their homes with the help of a Bible Church in New Orleans. Seven years later, they started Bible Center Church:

  • Our charter was signed in March 1969
  • The main building was built in April 1970
  • A second one was added a few years later
  • There were five pastors from 1969 - 1994
  • Gary McCall was pastor 1995 - May 2025
  • Dale Gooding became pastor in June 2025
